Rob has over 17 years’ experience within WA’s media, government and corporate sectors – working as a Political Reporter, Ministerial Media Adviser and, more recently, managing reputation for some of WA’s leading companies and industry organisations. These days, Rob heads up Corporate and Government Affairs for CITIC Pacific Mining and the Sino Iron Project in WA’s north. The project represents China’s largest-ever overseas investment in the resources sector.
Away from work, Rob is married to Rebecca and they have two young boys. Rob’s a keen cyclist, in recent years tackling some of France’s most challenging climbs, including the legendary Col Tourmalet. Last year he rode from Albany to Perth, raising funds for positive mental health, as part of the Hawaiian Ride for Youth.
